02 Nights / 03 Days : Summer in Sri Lanka

Day 01: Sigiriya Rock Fortress, Dambulla Cave Temple & Safari Tour

Breakfast at the Hotel in Colombo / Negombo and start traveling towards Sigiriya
We can plan to leave around 6.30 am Earlier the better as climbing Sigiriya with high sunlight will be tiring in noon/afternoon.
Travel time to Sigiriya from (Approx 03 Hours)
En-route visit to Dambulla Cave Temple
Climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress (It will take 1 1/2 – 2 hours to climb up and come back)
12.30 pm – 1.30 pm Traditional Village safari with Sri Lankan lunch
2.00 pm – 5.00 pm Safari Tour at the Minneriya National Park
5.00 pm – 6.30 pm Traveling to Trincomalee (Eastern beach and this is the season there)

Night stay in Trincomalee

Day 02: Whales & Dolphin Watching Tour, Travel to Kandy

Early morning whale watching tour 6.00 am – 9.30 am
Visit the Nilaveli beach and other vital places in Trincomalee including the old fort of Trincomalee, Koneshwaram Kovi, Trinco City beach, etc
11.00 am start heading towards Kandy
En-route visit to the Spice Grows in Matale
Stop at the Matale Hindu Temple
Sri Lankan cultural show at Kandy 5.00 pm – 6.00 pm
Visit the temple of the tooth relic, Kandy View Point, etc

Night Stay in Kandy

Day 03: Scenic Train Ride, Tea Experience, and Water Falls

Breakfast at the hotel
You will be transferred to the Kandy railway station for the train trip to Nuwaraeliya
We will have reserved seats booked for you. Train time options are 8.53 am and 11.03 am. You can decide a suitable time and let us know. The train journey is around 3 ½ hours to reach Nuwara Eliya.

Chauffer to drive the car to Nuwara Eliya station with your luggage in it. Meet him at the Nuwara Eliya station.
Lunch and explore the city of Nuwara Eliya
Things to see in Nuwara Eliya: Gregory lake park, Victoria Park, Old post office
Visit the Pedro tea estate and the factory to see the process of making Ceylon tea.
Start heading towards Colombo / Negombo
En-route stops at two beautiful waterfalls
Devon Falls and St. Clairs Falls

Arriving in Negombo / Colombo by late evening.
