  • Grade 3–4 white-water rafting in Kitulgala
  • World-famous highland train ride through tea country
  • Little Adam’s Peak hike + Nine Arch Bridge

  • Surfing session + Coconut Tree Hill sunset in Mirissa
  • Private transfers, expert English-speaking driver-guide, and 24/7 support

Tour Itinerary (Day by Day)

  • Arrival & Sigiriya Rock Challenge
  • Meet your Mahaweli driver-guide at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) and enjoy a scenic 4-hour transfer to Sigiriya. By late afternoon, tackle the legendary Sigiriya Rock Fortress — a 200-meter sheer rock rising dramatically from the plains. Climb through ancient frescoes, the Mirror Wall, and the famous Lion’s Paw staircase to the summit for 360° panoramic views.
For a more rugged experience, opt for the sunset hike up Pidurangala Rock instead — fewer crowds and equally spectacular vistas. Overnight in Sigiriya (adventure resort with pool). (Meals: Dinner)
  • Elephant Kingdom & Cultural Capital
  • Early start for a thrilling jeep safari in Minneriya National Park — home to “The Gathering,” Asia’s largest seasonal concentration of wild elephants. Track massive herds across grasslands and water bodies with expert trackers.
After the safari, drive 3–4 hours to Kandy. In the evening, visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, followed by a spectacular Kandyan cultural dance show featuring fire walking and traditional drumming. Overnight in Kandy (boutique hotel overlooking the lake). (Meals: Breakfast)
  • White Water Adrenaline & Highland Escape
  • Drive to Kitulgala, Sri Lanka’s adventure capital. Gear up for an exhilarating Grade 3–4 white-water rafting session on the Kelani River (2–2.5 hours). Professional instructors and safety equipment provided. Optional add-ons: canyoning, waterfall abseiling, or cliff jumps into natural pools.
In the afternoon, climb into the cool highlands and reach Nuwara Eliya — “Little England” — surrounded by rolling tea plantations and misty peaks. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya (colonial-style boutique hotel). (Meals: Breakfast)
  •  Scenic Rails & Ella’s Mountain Playground
  • Morning visit to a working tea factory with a short plantation walk and fresh Ceylon tea tasting. Then board the iconic highland train from Nanu Oya to Ella — widely regarded as one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world. Sit by the open door as the train winds through tea estates, waterfalls, and cloud forests.
Upon arrival in Ella, hike the easy-to-moderate Little Adam’s Peak trail for sweeping valley and mountain views. End the day at the stunning Nine Arch Bridge for golden-hour photography. Overnight in Ella (hillside eco-lodge with valley views). (Meals: Breakfast)
  • Into the Wild: Yala National Park
  • Drive south to Tissamaharama (approx. 4 hours). In the afternoon, set off on a 3–4 hour jeep safari in Yala National Park — one of the world’s best places to see leopards in the wild. Spot elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles, and over 200 bird species across jungles, grasslands, and coastal lagoons. Overnight in Tissamaharama (comfortable safari lodge). (Meals: Breakfast)
  • Surf, Sand & Southern Freedom
  • Short drive along the stunning southern coastline to Mirissa. Spend the day on golden sands: take a beginner-friendly surfing lesson on gentle waves or simply enjoy the beach. Seasonal whale & dolphin watching boat trip available (Nov–April).
Climb Coconut Tree Hill in the late afternoon for one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic sunset views. Evening free to relax by the ocean. Overnight in Mirissa (beachfront boutique resort). (Meals: Breakfast)
  • Return to Colombo & Departure
  • After a relaxed breakfast, your driver transfers you to Colombo (2.5–3 hours). Depending on your flight time, you may have a short city orientation or shopping stop before heading to Bandaranaike International Airport.
Depart Sri Lanka with a heart full of adventure memories — summits conquered, rivers rafted, wildlife encountered, and waves ridden. (Meals: Breakfast)
